| Theese devices are indicated against the risk caused by: | The shelf-guaranteed by the supplier, expressed as expiry date in relation to the sterilization date, is 3 years. This indication may be found on the label on the original external packaging and indicates the period of time during which the device, sterilized with Ethylene Oxid, may be used as long as it has been stored up until that moment in its intact packaging and in suitable storage conditions. | The device must be stored in its original packaging, in a dry place away from light and heat sources. | |||||

RE-USE OF THE DEVICE |
| The PROGUARD gloves and sleeves can be resterilized 3 times by Ethylene Oxide. | |
| BEFORE ITS RE-USE, THE USED DEVICE MUST UNDERGO THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES: |

Cleaning
and disinfection

2. |
Re-packaging
|
3. |
Re-sterilization
|

Accurately wash the devices under running
water.
If necessary, use a suitable detergent/disinfectant solution, such as HAEMOSOL
or PROTEZIM to remove any blood or organic residues.
Rinse under running water and eliminate all traces of the solution used.
If possible, hang the devices and let them drip dry at room temperature in
a clean place, away from light and heat sources. |
Carry out in a clean and controlled area,
with low particle and microbial contamination.
Re-package the devices introducing them, in pairs, in envelopes suitable
for Ethylene Oxid.
Seal each package in the most suitable way. |
Ethylene Oxid re-sterilization must
be carried out by authorized companies after their system (autoclave +
product) has been validated, in order to guarantee the method's reliability
and, therefore, the sterility of the device after each procedure. |
